In July, Europes largest Cheerleading and Dance organisation welcomed our SAA Starlets to compete in their competition. All those extra hours of rehearsals and training certainly paid off and we are delighted that the SAA Starlets brought home the trophy! A massive congratulations to all the girls for their hard work and Miss Earrye for her patience and support. We are very proud of you!

Congratulations to Hannah (Year 9) on her amazing achievement competing in the ‘Suffolk Library's Literacy Book Mastermind Competition’. Hannah won the schools area heats in January and March, and has since taken part in the County Final where she came a very close second missing out on the top spot by the narrowest of margins. Well done Hannah, we are all very proud of you!
As part of our Aspiration and Challenge programme, Year 9 experienced a hugely enjoyable and informative trip to the Houses of Parliament, where they got to visit The Houses of Commons, The House of Lords, and Westminster Hall. Thank you very much to Jo Churchill for the kind invitation.
In celebration of Sybil Andrews birthday, and to learn more about her life and work, we had the pleasure of welcoming into school some of our local Primary schools, who took part in some very interesting Art & DT transition sessions. We were also extremely delighted that the Mayor of St Edmundsbury joined us in our celebrations too and felt very honoured to have here to mark such a special occasion.
